• Health and wellness information: the symptom, wellness, exercise, treatment and weekly check-in entries you choose to log.
• Usage information: basic details about how you interact with the app, such as login activity.

2. Why we collect it

We collect your information only to provide the POTSPal service to you — to display your logs, generate your trends and insights, send your optional reminders, and manage your account. We do not use your health information for any other purpose.

3. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored by our platform provider in cloud data centres located in the United States. Because your information may be held outside Australia, we handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

4. We do not share your data with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health information with any third party. We will not disclose your information to anyone else without your written consent. If we ever contribute to research or reporting, any data shared will be anonymous and de-identified so that it can never be traced back to you. Limited service providers (such as our hosting and payment processors) act on our behalf under strict obligations and only to operate the service — they do not receive your information for their own use.

5. Security

Access to your data is restricted to you and to authorised administrators where required to operate the service. We use secure, encrypted storage and require authentication for all access.

6. Your rights and control

• Access and export: You can view your data at any time within the app and export it as a CSV file from your My Account page.
• Correction: You can edit your entries and profile details at any time.
• Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from your My Account page, or by contacting us.
• Opt-out: You can turn off reminders at any time from your My Account page.

7. Consent

By creating an account and using POTSPal, you consent to the collection and handling of your information as described in this policy. You may withdraw consent by deleting your account.

8. Children

POTSPal is not intended for use by anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify members of significant changes within the app or by email.
